2009-2010 Pac 10 season

I'm going to breakdown the comings and goings for every team in the Pac-10.

Some quick statistics: I calculated the % lost of points, rebounds, assists, and minutes.
(8-10) WSU 63%, 54%, 56%, 57%
(13-5) UCLA 63%, 47%, 68%, 58%
(6-12) STAN 57%, 41%, 71%, 53%
(9-9) USC 54%, 53%, 35%, 50%
(9-9) ZONA 53%, 54%, 36%, 41%
(11-7) ASU 50%, 45%, 33%, 34%
(14-4) UW 39%, 38%, 27%, 32%
(7-11) OSU 12%, 8%, 20%, 18%
(2-16) ORE 5%, 9%, 6%, 9%
(11-7) CAL 0%, 0%, 0%, 0%

A quick perusal shows Washington and California as the teams that have the best combination of winning last year and returning talent. On the flipside, Washington State and Stanford are clearly in trouble.

Washington State
Taylor Rochestie, Aron Baynes, Caleb Forrest, Daven Harmeling, and Ryan Bailey all graduate.

Two PG's, a SG, and a PF committed to WSU, none of which were ranked in any way.

UCLA
Josh Shipp, Darren Collison, and Alfred Aboya graduate, and Jrue Holliday turned professional.

A typical UCLA haul, #3 ranked SF Taylor Honeycutt, #7 ranked SF Mike Moser, #12 ranked C Anthony Stover, #22 ranked PF Brendan Lane, and #36 ranked PF Reeves Nelson all join the stable of talent. The Bruins don't rebuild, they simply reload.

Stanford
Anthony Goods, Lawrence Hill, Mitch Johnson, and Kenny Brown graduate.

A PG and a PF, neither of whom were ranked, join the Cardinal.

USC
Marcus Johnson, Terrence Green, and Keith Wilkinson graduate, and Taj Gibson and DeMar DeRozan turned pro.

#32 ranked PF Derrick Williams and an unranked PF join USC.

Arizona
David Bagga and Fendi Onobun graduate and Jordan Hill and Chase Budinger turned pro.

#8 ranked C Kyryl Natyazhko, #13 ranked SF Solomon Hill, #19 ranked SF Kevin Parrom, and #33 ranked SG Lamont Jones join Zona.

Arizona State
Jeff Pendergraph graduates and James Harden turned pro.

#20 ranked SG Trent Lockett, #31 ranked SF Demetrius Walker, #33 ranked SF Victor Rudd, #34 ranked C Ruslan Pateev, and an unranked SG join the Sun Devils.

Washington
Jon Brockman, Justin Dentmon, and Artem Wallace graduate.

#2 ranked PG Abdul Gaddy, #34 ranked SG CJ Walker, #35 ranked PF Clarence Trent, and JC transfer Charles Garcia join the Huskies.

Oregon State
Ricky Claitt, Joey McConnell, and Kyle Bjornstad graduate.

#15 ranked C Angus Brandt, #18 ranked SG Roberto Nelson, #21 ranked C Joe Burton, #27 ranked PG Jared Cunningham, and #32 ranked SF Rhys Murphy join the Beavers, who badly need this influx of talent.

Oregon
Churchill Odia and Frantz Dorsainvil graduate.

#5 ranked SF Jamil Wilson, #24 ranked SF EJ Singler, JC transfer PF Jeremy Jacob, and JC transfer PG Malcolm Armstead join the Ducks.

California
No one leaves.

#24 ranked PG Brandon Smith, JC transfer PF Makuri Sanders-Frison, and an unranked PF join the Bears.

Predictions
I see Washington, UCLA, and Cal contending for the Pac-10 title. Arizona, Arizona State, and Oregon State will form the next tier. Stanford and WSU will struggle mightily. A bunch of high-profile recruits enter headlined by Abdul Gaddy, Taylor Honeycutt, Jamil Wilson, Mike Moser, and Kyryl Natyazhko. Should be exciting!
