I guess this is a cost of it.

Of course the US has issues with healthcare, but state-run, and supposedly "free" healthcare isn't the answer. Look at any of the countries lauded for their "superior" healthcare and you will find both public and private components. Any anyone who is able to scrape together enough to pay for the private healthcare does it. It's better.
