Movie Review: True Grit

I was quite a bit late to this party, but True Grit gets the highest recommendation from me. I'm not typically a big western fan (I didn't like Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid) but Bridges, Damon and Brolin are excellent, the cinematography is wonderful and the plot compelling. Add in a spunky, lippy heroine and I can see why this took home the awards that it did.
