The Minimum Wage

Great post from the Amateur Economist on the minimum wage. The best line: "If this policy is good for eliminating poverty here at home, why not just let countries like Haiti and other in sub-Saharan Africa in on the deal? They could eliminate their widespread poverty with the stroke of a pen." Come on believers in the minimum wage. Get your head out of the sand and educate yourselves on basic, basic economics. You're not helping those in lower classes. You're ruining their lives. People are homeless and jobless because of you. Good job.
