Can Bookstores Survive?

I won't add too much of my opinion to this thorough article, but I do think that physical bookstores are here to stay. How many and whether they will be of the Barnes and Noble type or The Shop Around the Corner type is unknown. I know I am not alone in both loving to read a physical book and spending hours in bookstores. It's that kind of emotion that the Kindle won't overcome. I've been building a collection of my absolute favorite children's books, now two strong. It's a collection that no Kindle or iPad will replace.
