Repo Men

First off, I saw the trailer for the rock opera version of this movie that came out sometime in the past two years. To put it mildly, I was intrigued. I regret that I haven’t seen that opera yet, but will make it a priority to track it down. This is the Hollywood version of that opera (maybe it’s all based on a book or something?). The movie stars Jude Law and Forrest Whitaker. The movie is set in the future and the premise centers on replacement organs, man-made ones. If you’re not able to keep up with the payments, the organ is repoed (I enjoy creating words). Gruesome at times, maniacally entertaining at others, this movie was headed for enjoyable mediocrity until the twist. By the way, does anyone beside my grandpa Takeo enjoy those plain glazed twist doughnuts? Watching Recommendation: Watch as a rental on a night you don’t want to think, possibly joined by beer and friends.
