I am so tired of thin Christianity. I am just sick to my bones of the anti-intelletualism that permeates the evangelical church. We are lazy, and we are not willing to do the hard work. But this is a time, and an opportunity for us to do the hard work. For us to follow Jesus into this broken world and to participate in his redeeming acts. We go into the world because Christ the incarnation, the eternal word made flesh goes into the world. What we do here matters my friends. Everyday we part of something larger than we can ever ask or imagine. Never underestimate the ripple effect of a simple act of kindness thrown into the sea of grace.
