Payday loans

As seen here, it's too bad the common citizen doesn't realize that a 400% APR is not a good deal. Do we really need to protect these people from themselves? Or should they, like Americans have since the Pilgrims, be forced to cope, educate, and survive without the help of anyone else, much less the federal government. People will never learn unless the reap the consequences of their actions.
