Lemonjello's
I just graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan with a degree in economics. Holland is a college town. The community loves to attend events Hope College, and the college welcomes them. Lemonjello's is a small coffee shop on the edge of campus, of two frequented by students, professors, and the community alike. Lemonjello's attracts a younger crowd than the other coffeeshop, JP's. I enjoy Lemonjello's because you can simply be. Very little is required of you: just buy some coffee. I've spent many an afternoon sipping the Bolivian, Guatemalan, or Love Buzz coffee from the trademark yellow mugs. Maybe I have some homework to do, maybe I'm reading a book for leisure, maybe I'm journaling, or perhaps I'm simply being. Since discovering Lemonjello's sometime in my sophomore year, I've probably visited at least three times a week and will continue to do so as long as I'm living in Holland.
