Ryan Zimmerman
Ryan Zimmerman recently made headlines in MLB by having a 30-game hitting streak. A defensive stalwart and Washington Nationals cornerstone, Zimmerman stagnated last year as a hitter, fighting injuries and slumps. He has really been awesome this year, batting .364/.418/.623. His .402 BABIP is unsustainable. With 13 doubles and 9 home runs already, he appears to have taken a big step forward on the power front. He already has a WPA of 1.41, easily the best on the team. He was a last second, impulse keeper pick for me, and one that has paid huge dividends.
