11:01 very, very somber tone
11:04 he's definitely looking older, I imagine the last few months have caused some of the "president effect."
11:05 wow, he really paused to let that apology sink in
power through anger right there, but of course he has to stand up for Elin
11:07 "I felt I was entitled" "i don't get to play by different rules"
telling words, this has to be unbelievably difficult for him
11:08 "it's not what you achieve in life, it's what you overcome"
11:12 "starting tomorrow, I will leave for more treatment and more therapy"
11:15 done, 13 minutes, 32 seconds.
Not really anything that we didn't expect. Pretty standard, rehearsed, and robotic. He was very contrite. He'll keep his private life as secret as he can, and we still have no idea when he'll be back to golf. He showed some fire when talking about Elin and allegations that were made by the media. He was not wearing a wedding ring. I think he said everything he needed to say, everything he should have. He took ownership for himself as a role model to so many, especially kids around the world.
On a side note, it's too bad he likely won't be back for the Masters at Augusta, and perhaps not for the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, both courses he has dominated.
